Why wallet developers integrate with Escher
For open source wallets, there are no additional fees at any time for buying or selling BTC.
Since Escher has direct access to Iterative Capital's OTC trading desk, we can offer wholesale pricing with a small spread on top that will be priced competitively for your users.
7% revenue share
For the spread that Escher takes on transactions we share 7% of that revenue with the wallet developer for each transaction.
USD is sent between Escher and the user's banking account instantly through Zelle so we can instantly send BTC to the user, which will be available for immediate withdrawal.
For instant Zelle transfers, we can offer limits up to $2000 per user per day (varies by bank).
Escher never holds private keys to your users' bitcoin and never holds a bitcoin balance on behalf of the user. All bitcoin is sent directly to a user-controlled Bitcoin wallet address or lightning invoice.
